MP3tunes, is seeking a web developer with a passion for music and a penchant for pushing the limits technology. Must have experience with Linux, PHP (version 5), OOD, MySQL, and advanced use of HTML and Javascript for application level interfaces. Experience in Java, C++ or other structured, type-safe languages is a plus. Graphic design capability is also a plus.

We offer a casual work environment and are geared toward big success. This is an "on site" position located in our San Diego, CA office.

Responsibilities:

- Implement new web based features
- Maintain existing code base
- Light graphics work
- Play nice with others

Skills Required:

- Linux, Apache, PHP, MySQL (LAMP) development
- Ajax
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript (at the source level)
- Flash, with heavy ActionScript
- OO Development experience
- Image editing/creation (Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, GIMP, etc.)
- Source code control systems (SVN, CVS, etc.)
- Other lauguages a plus (Python, Perl, etc.)
- Experience in agile development methodologies a plus

Must be a self-starter with creative ideas and flourish in a start-up environment. We're a small, tight-knit company and will only hire team members that believe in music and the advancements of technology.
