| A: | The MP3tunes Locker gives you unlimited online storage to back-up your entire personal music collection, including your playlists. You can sync your music collection in your MP3tunes Locker with your computers, portable players and devices. You're able to webload free tracks you find on the Internet directly into your MP3tunes Locker or sideload with one of our partners. You can play your music collection and playlists in iTunes and anywhere you have an Internet connection. The MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite is free and includes Oboe Sync, Oboe for iTunes and Oboe for Firefox. The Basic MP3tunes Locker includes webloading, sideloading, MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite, and streaming inside iTunes on the Internet at a medium quality bit-rate (56k). The Premium MP3tunes Locker is $39.95 per year and includes back-up with unlimited storage, syncing, webloading, sideloading, MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite, and streaming inside iTunes on the Internet at a high quality bit-rate (192k). | Q: | How do I sign up? |
| A: | It's a quick and easy process. Create a Premium MP3tunes account from the homepage at MP3tunes. Download the MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite when prompted to do so and you'll be ready to sync, back-up your music collection, webload, sideload and stream your music. |
| Q: | May I sign up for an account outside the United States? |
| A: | Yes! |
| Q: | What if I forget my password? |
| A: | Select Login and then click on 'Forgot Password'. Enter your email address and submit. We'll email you a new password in seconds. |
| Q: | How much is the MP3tunes Locker service? |
| A: | The Premium MP3tunes Locker is $39.95 per year and the Basic MP3tunes Locker is free. |
| Q: | What payment methods are accepted? |
| A: | Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. Any debit card with the Visa or Mastercard logo is also accepted. |

| A: | We're able to store your billing information and we'll notify you when it's time to renew. We won't charge your credit card without asking you first. |

| Q: | What is the Oboe Software Suite? |
| A: | The Oboe Software Suite is the Basic MP3tunes software required to sync and play your music with the MP3tunes Locker available for Windows Mac and Linux. Oboe for iTunes is the plugin you'll need to sync and play in iTunes. Oboe Sync is the program you'll use to sync music in any format other than iTunes. Oboe for Firefox is a plugin that enables webloading with ease - you'll find free mp3s available on any website in seconds! You can find the link to download the MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite once logged into your MP3tunes Locker online and clicking on Downloads in the Locker navigation bar. You'll also be prompted to download the MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite when you initially register for your MP3tunes Locker. |

| A: | Oboe Sync is the software required to sync your music collection with your MP3tunes Locker in any format other than iTunes. |

| A: | Oboe for iTunes is the plugin required to sync your music collection inside iTunes. Click here for more information. |
| Q: | What is Oboe for Firefox? |
| A: | Oboe for Firefox allows you to search websites with free mp3 files and add them to your MP3tunes Locker with a quick click. Click here for screenshots. |
| Q: | What is Syncing? |
| A: | Syncing creates a mirror image of your music in two locations at the same time. For example, syncing the music collection stored on your home PC will make it available online as well as on your laptop and work computer. MP3tunes monitors syncing activity in your MP3tunes Locker to ensure the security of your Locker stays in tact. |
| Q: | How do I sync? |
| A: | First download the MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite. For information on how to sync in iTunes, click here. To sync music on your computer and/or in any other media player launch Oboe Sync and click sync! It's that simple. |
| Q: | Once I begin syncing my music how do I know that it is working? |
| A: | First Oboe Sync will display Analyzing, indicating it is finding where your music is stored on your computer. It will then display Syncing and the file name of the track being synced at that time. Three dots means it is syncing up from your computer to the MP3tunes Locker; four dots means it is syncing down from your MP3tunes Locker to your computer or device. The syncing progress bar will reflect the percentage completion of your syncing. |
| Q: | Can I sync my playlists? |
| A: | Yes! Whether in iTunes or any other media player, your playlists will sync with your Locker and be available to sync to your other computers and devices. |
| Q: | Can I sync down one file from my music collection to a computer? |
| A: | Currently the MP3tunes Oboe Software Suite syncs your entire music with your MP3tunes Locker. Syncing will stop if you have insufficient disk space. |
| Q: | How many files can I sync to my locker? |
| A: | Currently the amount is limitless! |
| Q: | Is there a file size limit for my locker? |
| A: | Yes, files must be smaller than 20MB. This restriction is in place to balance our server resources more efficiently and to provide the best service possible for the majority of MP3tunes Locker subscribers. |
| Q: | Can I sync my DRM encoded music? |
| A: | Yes, you can sync your DRM encoded music and it will be stored in your MP3tunes Locker. Please note the qualities of DRM will always apply and you may be unable to play or sync DRM files unless they are properly authenticated. |
| Q: | What is DRM? |
| A: | DRM is an acronym for Digital Restrictions Management. Tracks wrapped in DRM are restricted and may only be played on certain computers with authentication. |
| Q: | How long will it take to sync my music library with my MP3tunes Locker? |
| A: | Depending on the speed of your internet connection's upload capabilities and the number and size of your files, initial syncing of your music collection can take from a few minutes to a few hours or more. On average, it takes one hour to sync 100 tracks but this can vary widely depending on your ISP. We suggest you sync overnight if you have a large music collection (4 gigs or more). |
| Q: | Will it automatically sync my music each time I add new music to my computer or portable device? |
| A: | Each time you get new music, simply launch Oboe and click sync. Your new tracks will be in your Locker instantly! |
| Q: | Where is the music stored on my computer that is synced down? |
| A: | Your music will be stored in the media manager that has the most music files stored on it. If you do not have a media manager it will default to your My Music directory. |
| Q: | Is there anything I should close or shutdown while syncing my music? |
| A: | Please make sure that you shut off any power saving utilities you may have setup on your computer as syncing may take an extended period of time to complete. You can still work on the computer and internet while syncing is occuring. |

| A: | Music can be synced from iTunes, Windows Media Player, WinAmp, MusicMatch Jukebox, Quick Time and other media players to the MP3tunes Locker. Music will be synced down directly into iTunes and Windows Media Players and can be added to other media players manually. Only iTunes will stream music directly from your MP3tunes Locker at this time. |

| A: | File formats currently supported are: mp3, mp4, m4a, m4p, aac, wma, ogg, aif, aiff, midi. ALAC, FLAC and WAV files are not supported in this version. |

| Q: | How do I play the music in my MP3tunes Locker with iTunes? |
| A: | You will see Oboe Locker displayed under your "Shared Music" folder on the far left column of iTunes. When you Click on Oboe Locker, you will prompted to enter your password if you're not logged in and then will be given the option to start syncing or playing your music. You've probably invested hundreds or thousands of dollars in time and money building your iTunes music library. Safely store your this music investment in the MP3tunes Locker, online. You'll never lose your music and can load it to another computer with no hassle. |

| A: | Oboe For iTunes syncing will depend on the amount of files and the size of the files you have in your music library. |
| Q: | Where do I log into my MP3tunes Premium Locker in iTunes? |
| A: | When you click on Oboe Locker a login box will show up on your taskbar and behind iTunes. Click on the new window on your taskbar to login to your Premium MP3tunes Locker. |

| Q: | What is webloading? |
| A: | Webloading allows you to input a URL of a song location from another site to your MP3tunes locker. The file will be saved and you can then stream it from your locker. |
| Q: | How do I webload? |
| A: | Right click and select 'copy' of a URL of any free MP3 hosted on the internet. Select 'webload' in the Locker Navigation of the MP3tunes Locker and paste in the webload field. The track will automatically be loaded to your Locker. If the track is not labeled with its file name, it will be placed in the Tune Up folder where you'll be asked to manually add this information. |
| Q: | What is Sideloading? |
| A: | Sideloading is done via our Sideload Partners websites. These websites provide a link next to a free mp3 available for download so you can easily load the track with just a click to your MP3tunes Locker. |
| Q: | What are Tune Upd files? |
| A: | Tune Upd files are tracks that are missing track title, artist name or album name. Our software will attempt to find this track information for you, giving you a suggested match list of track information. You may also edit this information yourself. |
| Q: | How do I sync or stream my Tune Upd files? |
| A: | You must enter the track information before you can play these tracks in your locker. |
| Q: | How do I add a track to my playlists showing in my MP3tunes Locker? |
| A: | A cursor over the icon at the right of the track title will appear. From the list of options that appears, choose 'add to playlist.' Click and your track will be added to the playlist of your choice. |
| Q: | How do I find a certain track in my locker quickly? |
| A: | Use the search function in the locker to quickly find a particular artist, track or album. |
| Q: | Can I create a playlist in my locker from the web? |
| A: | Yes. A cursor over the icon at the right of the track title will appear. From the list of options that appears, choose 'new playlist.' Click and your track will be added to a new playlist. |
| Q: | How do I delete a track from my locker? |
| A: | Place your cursor over the track you want to delete. You'll see a list of options, click on Move to Trash. The track will then be moved to the trash bin. Tracks in the trash bin will remembered and not synced in the future. If a track is emptied from trash or permanently deleted, it will resync to your MP3tunes Locker if it is still on your PC. |

| A: | Your music is password protected. No one else can access your music without your email and password. |
